A 19th century French marquetry and rosewood mantel clock, with enamelled Roman dial signed Duval à Paris, silk suspension movement, 9in.

Case of good rich colour, shallow dents to either side of the top glass where the handle has pushed against the wood, one fine split showing at 12 o'clock and just running into the top of the case, dial looks original but Duval signature possibly added, movement in good clean condition but not tested.
