A 19th century French gothic revival ivory diptych, carved with scenes of The Adoration, The Road to Bethlehem, The Crucifixion and The Resurrection, width 4.25in. height 3.5in.

The outside of the case is discoloured with some light staining, the two panels when closed do not meet squarely and there has been slight warping, the interior is a little dirty with some age staining otherwise good, there is a small loss of ivory to the left side of the lower hinge which is visible on the photographs on our website, otherwise the carving appears complete and in good condition with little wear.
