A 19th century French flame mahogany commode, with black granite top, divided frieze drawer and three further long drawers and a plinth drawer, on block feet, W.4ft 2in. D.1ft 10in. H.3ft 2in.

Top is probably later but does have some age and also suffers from a number of light surface scratches particularly on the left, no key to any of the locks, top drawer has central divisions within it, next drawer down lacks it lock and has original handles, following drawer has lock but no handles and appears never to have had them, bottom drawer has lock and handles, overall good rich colour, some light scuffing around the escutcheons particularly on the middle drawer, a few vertical splits running up both sides.
