Estimate £600-800

Overall in honest untouched condition, all of the fabric coating the elephant and the costume looks to be original although now rather distressed, notable damage to the middle of the trunk of the elephant, eyes are original, tusks look original, velvet covering to the elephant quite rubbed and faded, costume for the rider in marginally better condition. Rider has metal hooks for hands which do look to be original, comes with the original winding key and a switch at the back to start the movement however the winding key does not turn and we have not tried to force it.
