A 19th century French Louis XVI style ormolu mounted red tortoiseshell bracket clock, with enamelled Roman dial, movement stamped F.R.F.C. 697, with matching bracket height 26in. bracket 13in.

The ormolu mounts are slightly matted, dial has as some point been repainted and this paint is now peeling away revealing white of an original enamelling below, one foliate mount on the front right is coming loose, front door is ajar and reluctant to shut, undue force has not been applied, movement looks clean and complete, some white mould spores over the back of the clock. Overall this clocks looks to be in fair condition but will need attention to the dial. Sunburst pendulum and ornate winding key come with this clock.
