A 19th century Continental kingwood, ebony and ormolu mounted jewellery casket, of serpentine shape, mounted with two painted miniatures, one depicting a Venetian canal scene, the other of Colonne de Juilette, Paris, with hinged lid and four swing-out drawers, 12.5in.

2 mounted painted panels appear to be o.k, but top oval pabnel has small creases and lifting slightly. Front panel has repainting and may have been restored. Overall reasonable condition. Light scuffs and marks in places but not seriopus and a few minor knocks on some edges.
