A 19th century Chinese rectangular cloisonne enamel box, mounted with a 17th/18th century white jade plaque, the plaque carved and pierced dagon-fish amid scrolling foliage and ruyi clouds, the bo decorated with lotus flowers and scrolls with gilded wires on a pale blue ground, 10.3 x 9cm, height 6.5cm, plaque 5 x 7cm

The cloisonne enamel is in good condition, there are a few minor dents and scratches to the gilt bronze rims of the box, the inset jade plaque has some natural inclusions to the stone and some losses to the fret work on the lower layer of carving and possibly a splinter chip near the outer edge of the design at the tip of one of the scrolling leaves, otherwise in reasonable condition, jade plaque is a little loose.
