A 19th-century Ceylonese rosewood centre table,
The circular tilt top with carved and pierced folate frieze, on matching spiral pierced stem, lobed base with prominent fruit motifs and foliage scroll feet, fitted castors.

Condition:
The top is a little faded and rubbed from use over the years, with a darker inner ring and a separation of the timber joints showing into places. Three areas of breakage to the freeze one of which most notably runs for approximately 25 cm the missing pieces do come with the table. A further area of damage to one side of the lower base again pieces have been retained. Casters look to be later and one is missing.
