Split to wood on underside of lid which is also just visible from the top. Small piece of wood missing from the edge of the lid amongst the triangular cut decoration. Small piece of wood missing from unveneered rim where the lid slides, visible wear to the veneer in general (centre of lid, both sides, end panels and base), some loss to the colouring, there are two small holes to the wood within one of the end panels on the side.
