A 1930's polychrome onyx portico mantel clock, surmounted by ormolu doves, the 3.5 inch Arabic dial with blued steel hands, the two train movement, stamped 'Machenaud, Paris', with anchor escapement, mock mercury pendulum and outside countwheel strike on a bell, height 53cm

The case is in good overall condition with some small chips and nibbles to the extremities, there is one larger chip to the rear left of the base of the case and there is another larger chip at the very lowest part of the left side of the case, the dial is a little faded and with radial wear to the numerals, the hands are good but may benefit from re-bluing, the movement functions, it is clean but may require a service, the movement has not been tested and cannot be guaranteed.
