A 1920's silver, ivory and shagreen mounted travelling toilet set, in Asprey fitted leather case, comprising ten silver and silver gilt items and twenty one other implements including a cased manicure set, silver maker, George Betjeman & Sons Ltd, London, 1928/29, monogrammed case 22.5in.

There are small patches of lacquer over the shagreen missing from the back of the mirror and there is a hairline crack to the ivory on the side of the mirror.
There are 3 small patches of lacquer missing from the back of one of the hairbrushes and the other has lost all of tghe lacquer.
There is loss to the lacquer on the back of both clothes brushes, one moreso than the other.
There is some minor wear to the gilding on both pairs of scissors in the manicure set.
The two tall rectangular jars have inerior staining to the glass. One of the stoppers is stuck in situ and the top of the other has a crack to the ivory.
One of the larger boxes has a crack to the ivory on the lid.
One opf the larger rectangular jar lids has a patch of lacquer missing.
The powder jar has a very large chip to othe glass base and there are 3 hairline cracks to the ivory on the side of the lid.
The two small boxes each have cracks to their ivory lids, one quite large.
Overall condition is otherwise good. Hallmarks on silver clear.
Case in generally good condition, mainly due to its canvas outer cover. The silk lining on the lid has a large circular stain( perfume?). There is some loss to the gilt lettering form the word 'London' beneath Asprey.
