Overall this has a slightly faded mid brown oak tone, central marquetry inlaid panel has a number of splits and some sections of marquetry missing as visible in the photographs, seat is made from three separate planks, typical wear commensurate with use to stretchers and lower legs. Section of wood that sits beneath the Wainscot panel looks to be later but there may also be additional later timbers, please see photographs for further information.
