A 17th century backsword, with 38 inch straight single edge blade, steel basket hilt with wirebound fish skin covered grip

The blade is pitted more so towards the tip with some nicks out of the edge most notably on the upper edge of the tip, guard again is pitted commensurate with age, the fish skin grip is worn beneath the heel of the thumb.
