A 17th century Augsberg gem encrusted ormolu figure of Minerva, standing wearing a dragon crested helm, her collar and skirt applied with garnets, 5.5in., on later marble plinth, overall height 8.25in.

Some very small and light areas of rubbing to the tips of the extremities but overall in good condition, no losses to any of the applied gem stones, though possibly two of them - one above her bust and one at her naval are later replacements, something missing from whatever she holds in her left hand where there is a hole and small steel pinhead sticking out, some small pit marks on the back, standing on what looks to be an associated marble plinth which is in good order.
