A 13th century Khorassan silver and copper inlaid bronze candlestick, of octagonal faceted truncated conical form, decorated with bands of lions and pierced to the neck, H.10.5in.

There are areas of malachite encrustation to the bronze candlestick and some minor casting and manufacturing imperfections, it is possible there is slight old solder repair to the join of the nozzle to the neck, and other small solder repairs around the heads of the lions again this may just be the silver inlay, there is a hole in the casting near the edge of the foot, there are some old solder repairs around the second to bottom band of script, the surface is very slightly pitted in places but generally in reasonable condition.
