Oil on canvas relined some years ago, canvas remains tight, paint looks rather dirty with a fine craquelure running through most of the work, one slight outward bulge where the paint is starting to crack and lift just below the top most blue ensign on the main ship, this has been retouched at some point some years ago. Location is believed to be Valetta but not confirmed as such, housed in a gilt scroll frame which is looking a little tatty around the edges, no labels or inscriptions verso.
We do not know who painted this.
