Male with a flake to the canvas, level with his nose; further smaller white spots level with his chin/throat area; frame poor, with several losses around perimeter moulding. Female with unfortunate crescent-shape tear above her bonnet, clearly visible; frame better but with losses at three corners. Age circa 1820-30.
