Condition:
Provenance – from Pewsey house, Oxon. A finally painted watercolour on paper which looks very flat and is thought to be laid down. Colours are little faded particularly in the sky but strong across the bottom. A number of small scattered dirt specs fox marks and other slight damage with some insect damage in the sky. Later plane card mount and gilded frame in fair order. Printed Dutch label verso Willem den Eersten, 1813…
