Condition:
Oil on an ancient wooden panel with a number of pronounced cracks and splits running vertically through it, later strengthening stretchers added to the back, board now somewhat out of shape, page rather dirty with some small losses and clear retouching where the splits run, housed in an old part painted ebonised frame, auctioneers chalk marks and labels verso. "Due to past issues with items being damaged in transit, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer packing and posting services on all lots in this sale. This is non-negotiable.
