Condition:
Somewhat neglected condition, the panel has two notable cracks running vertically at 12 and 6 o'clock almost to the centre, these have been strengthened with canvas on the back, panel is also out of shape and curving backwards at the top left and bottom right corners, paint rather dirty with some dirt and scuff marks, some bitumous blooming and small retouches, old possibly original heavy ebonised wooden frame, remnants of a collector's seal mark on the back of the panel, Sotheby's yellow chalk on the back of the frame.
