'Wingate House': An English cupboard house, early 19th century, standing on bracket feet with three opening doors revealing six rooms, the exterior with its original painted finish including pale pink block work and six panelled front door with a painted portico in the Chinese style, the interior also with original finishes, including attractive paper borders, 100cm high.

This house is believed to have belonged to the Wingate family, Colonel Wingate of the Chindits was a member of the family.
