Oil on original canvas in good untouched condition, a very slight sagging now to the canvas, paint would benefit from a light clean but no real faults noted, signed and dated lower left, housed in a gilt frame which is splitting at the corners and incorporates an older title plaque, Christie's stencil number 9298 or SC verso along with old auctioneers chalk marks.
