Ink and wash on paper which shows a fair amount of undulation so is clearly not laid down, some scattered dirt marks and some slight discolouration of the paper particularly towards the top right corner, possibly a little faded but still retaining a good strength of colour, housed in a discoloured card mount and slim oak frame, the sketch verso with some scattered mould and dirt marks most of which are on the glass rather than the work itself.
