This work has been relined probably 10 - 20 years ago, canvas still has a little bit of movement in it, no sign of why it was relined that is to say no sign of any retouching perhaps it was purely due to the canvas being saggy, there is a very slight line of craquelure showing the bottom left pink roses but no other craquelure evident, works retains good levels of paint thickness with pronounced impasto in flowers, possibly in need of the lightest of cleans but no other faults noted, housed in the original cream scroll frame, Frost & Reed label verso number 0/58135.
