Pencil on what looks to be light buff coloured paper, looks slightly faded or discoloured, more likely discolouration than fading, a number of small scattered fox marks across the work, otherwise good condition, signed and dated lower right, housed in an old card mount and very dirty museum quality glass, a painted wood frame which has lost much of its finish, label applied verso listing it as from the contents of Swythamley Hall, Macclesfield (1976 Christie's sale).
