A pair of French millefleur glass paperweight pen holders / vases, possibly 19th century, with latticino and applied barber's pole cable decoration to the trumpet shaped stems, with flowerhead and silhouette cane rods on a scattered muslin ground, height 14cm

The first vase has a shallow 3mm x 2mm chip to the edge of the foot, the second vase has a loss to the barber's pole cable at the base of the stem of the vase, and a deep scratch / bruise to the middle of the paperweight base, both vases have wear to the base consistent with age.
