Case of rich mid brown mahogany tone, acanthus carving to the top may have had some gilding or gold highlights to the leaves, most of this is now rubbed away, one section of brass stringing missing between 9 and 11 o'clock, other stringing looks to have been restored to varying effect, dial looks original but dirty with some chipping below 6, brass bezel has a just about working key which also just about works the back door, movement looks untouched for many years, appears to be complete, does have a repeat mechanism lever but lacks bell, has a pendulum and does run with pendulum fitted, comes with a modern key.
