The item would benefit from a good clean overall, the top pierced section has some visible verdigris in parts, the jardiniere body itself is in good order, all four figures are intact with no visible signs of any damage, however there is some loss to the patina on each of hem in the form of worn gilding or patches of wear, the base of the copper lining has become completely detached from the top section and is quite dirty with visible verdigris also.
Untouched condition. General areas of tarnish allover. The Blackamoor figures are cold painted and have flake losses to these areas. There is no damage or restoration to the jardiniere but the seperate copper liner has a lose base.
