A decorative work, probably dating to 1950 or thereabouts. Oil on original canvas which remains tight. Slight vertical stretcher mark showing in the centre. Paint is rather dirty and would benefit from a good clean. One small dent lower left, below the outstretched foot of the figure on the left. Housed in a gilt scroll frame which has lost one complete corner moulding.
