Mark V Marshall for Doulton lambeth, a flambe bottle vase entwined by a mythical beast, c.1885, 19cm, restored

Mark V Marshall for Doulton lambeth, a flambe bottle vase entwined by a mythical beast, c.1885, impressed mark and incised marks '924' and 'M.V.M', 19cm, restored
Estimate £200-300

The whole of the vase appears to have been re-sprayed so it is very difficult to say exactly what has been restored and what has been blended in with the restoration. There are some visible cracks to the bulbous part of the body running at least half way around. We cannot be sure if this is in the actual body or cracking in the restoration but there is some bubbling to the sprayed restoration on the surface. There's also some slight chipping around the foot. The base has definitely been over painted so so some of The marks are difficult to make out.
