A Russian Gardner porcelain figure of a man holding a staff, mid 19th century, wearing traditional hat and a purple smock, on a square base, underglaze blue G mark, H.21.4cm, loss to left hand and replacement staff

The figure has a loss to the fingers on his left hand and also has a replacement staff made of wood which has been painted to look like porcelain. Minor wear to the gilding around the foot otherwise in reasonable condition.
