Oil on canvas, relined 20-30 years ago or more.
Cleaned in the past and now has the canvas showing through in places.
A few signs of retouching, notably just behind the head of the youth where what looks like an old split has seen some retouching and the paint is slightly raised. This does not stand out overly.
Frame is a little dull, looks to be Continental and dating from 30-40 years ago or more. Attribution on the frame to Portuguese School.
Overall fair condition, a decorative old work that may well benefit from a light clean.
