An unusual Chinese export tortoiseshell snuff box, 19th century, the cover carved in relief with a figure in a hand driven carriage, the base with a peacock and flower garland, D. 8.5cm

The cover of the box has a natural fault / internal crack in the inside of the cover which is not visible on the exterior and there is some scratching to the interior of the box, otherwise in good condition with no restoration or chips.
