A Chinese hardstone, mother of pearl and ivory mounted table screen, early 20th century, applied with finely carved 'Antiques' on a yellow lacquer ground, the reverse with a calligraphic inscription on black lacquer ground, the wood stand carved in relief with archaistic scrolls, total size 59cm x 39.5cm

The side of the main panel depicting antiques has craquelure to the yellow lacquer ground, it looks as though the edge of the lacquer has been re-coloured in near the edge of the wooden frame and similarly the other side with calligraphy has craquelure to the black lacquer ground, again looks like it may have been recoloured around the very edge inside the frame, the frame and stand itself has a few chips to edges exposing a slightly lighter timber where the timber has been ebonised, please see photographs, otherwise in fairly reasonable condition.
