A Chinese teadust glazed baluster vase, Chenghua four character mark to base, probably 18th century, the mark painted in underglaze blue to a white glazed tablet on the base, the foot with a grey - brown wash, height 22cm

There is an adhesion blemish to one side of the vase at the middle point of the shoulder and there is pitting to the white glaze on the interior of the vase, typical other minor glaze imperfections all over, there are two curving hairline cracks extending from just below half way on the body down towards the foot.
