the 13 inch arched brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, the case with blind fret carving and later marquetry and parquetry decoration,

Condition:
Overall of a rich dark reddish brown mahogany tone, some losses to the hood particularly top left corner and top right where some of the fret work is missing and there are splits, dial heavily oxidised and scuffed, movement looks complete and original but not tested for timekeeping, trunk has pierced fret work quarter columns and what looks to be later parquetry banding and marquetry panels, some of the banding is missing from the box base, the foot is broken with small sections missing, comes with two lead weights, incomplete pendulum and no keys.
