This piece looks to have been restored perhaps 20 or 30 years ago and now requires further attention, overall the colour has a rather dull flat finish and would require some repolishing, inlaid stringing throughout the piece looks to be later Edwardian embellishment, cornice has seen some repair and reconstruction possibly with later additions, handles and escutcheons look to be original, left side section of moulding from the waist is loose but contained in one of the drawers, some losses of veneer and scuffing around the bracket feet which look to be later.
