A late 1930's early 40’s cream silk satin floral full length neglige gown. Printed with pink and blue flowers, designed with complex bias cut chevron detail on front bodice to hips ending in a v shape back, front buttoned but mostly open.
Top of shoulder to hem 163 cm. Back under arm across 40cm. Condition; the gown has been stored and become damp creating rust stains. Washing and soaking may lighten them. Négligé a good pattern for designers to copy.
