A fine Japanese shakudo and mixed metal ‘fan’ brooch, signed Mitsuhiro, Meiji period, relief decorated with cranes amid plum blossom branches, the right side with a vine design, stamped maker’s mark to the reverse, 7.7cm wide

The back of the brooch indicates it may have been a vertical metal pin now lacking although the current brooch pin looks to have been there for some time. minor to mixed metal relief decoration, generally in good condition.
