Vol. II containing “A Scandal in Bohemia”, the first Sherlock Holmes short story published in The Strand, commencing p. 61, with further Holmes stories by Conan Doyle across the run. Vol. III with frontispiece “Mr. Rider Haggard and the Wild Horses”. Uniform half green leather over marbled boards, raised bands, red lettering-pieces and gilt dates to spines.

Condition: Bindings with slight rubbing, fading and some marks to spines. Minor intermittent spotting throughout; contents otherwise generally clean. Complete as bound.
