Original black cloth with white eye device to upper board and gilt lettering to spine; binding firm and generally well preserved, with light rubbing and shelf wear. Page edges toned and spotted, but text block internally good and clean. In unclipped dust jacket (15s. net), generally well preserved and substantially complete, with age-toning and surface soiling, rubbing and some staining, together with light chipping and creasing at the extremities, principally to the spine ends and corners. Jacket verso and flap folds browned and stained. Corners clipped retaining price.
