Original black cloth boards with silver and red decoration to upper board and lettering to spine, generally well preserved with light rubbing and shelf wear to extremities. Page edges toned and spotted with age; text block clean. Ink ownership inscription (“S. Elias”) to front free endpaper. Dust jacket heavily worn and fragile, with considerable toning, soiling and staining, rubbing, creasing, tears, chipping and losses to edges and extremities; substantial splitting/separation along the folds, with flaps partially detached. Corners clipped retaining price.
