Tony Laws (b.1935) trained at the Royal College of Art in London, before establishing himself as a prominent figure in modern silversmithing. Together with fellow artists Ronald Stevens, Ian Calvert and Keith Redfern, he established The Silver Workshop Limited, which operated in central London between 1963 and 1972, before establishing his own studio.
