Condition:
Publisher’s original black cloth clean and well preserved, with only light wear to the extremities; white eye and eyebrow motif to the upper board well preserved and gilt lettering to the spine remaining bright. Contents generally clean, with some light toning and a small pencil inscription to the front free endpaper. In the original dust jacket, retaining the 15s. net price; jacket with some toning and light surface soiling, more noticeable to the rear panel and spine, with light rubbing and creasing to the edges and extremities and minor wear to the spine ends and corners, but presenting well overall. The volume is additionally preserved in a custom-made leather clam-shell box.
