Louise and Alfred Powell (1865-1956 and 1865-1960) for Wedgwood: Two tiles and two saucers, the larger square tile painted with two birds and a flowering shrub within an arbour of trees, the underside inscribed ‘42=Pl’, 15.3cm, the second tile with flowers and foliage, 10.2cm and each saucer with a repeating design of vine leaves, the larger saucer with LP monogram mark and no. 5260, 16cm, the smaller with P monogram and no. 5391, 14cm

Condition:
The larger square tile has a few tiny nibbles to the glaze on the edge and some occasional scratching to the glaze and there are remnants of green baize stuck to the back. The smaller square tile is a little grubby with a small nick to one corner and remnants of baize to the under side. Both of the saucers have some crazing and staining. The larger saucer has a crack near the well, which does not extend all the way to the rim. The smaller saucer has some slight wear to the decoration.
