A 19th century French Louis XV style mantel clock, the shaped case with gilt metal mounts and foliate finial, decorated with painted floral and figural panels, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, with key, 40cm high.

Condition:
Dial with chips around winding arbours; case dirty with some worn areas; front-right and rear-left ormolu foot mounts a little loose. Marti et Cie movement; rear door lower hinge needs tightening. Key is not original. Not working - striking train seems OK but going train winding arbour not connecting with going train. Case 38.5cm high; 18.5cm max. width of feet; case depth 12cm.
