A late Victorian silver novelty vesta case inset with a compass, A&J Zimmerman, Birmingham, 1898, with engraved initials, 52mm, together with a Chinese white metal slide action box and cover, embossed with panels of figures, signed to the base.

Condition:
There are some surface scratches to the Vesta in general. The compass is working. Hallmark’s clear. The Chinese box again has minor nicks and surface scratches in places and there is somewhere to the raised parts of the decoration around the case otherwise in good condition. Character marks clear.
