Preached before the Lady Elizabeth Her Grace, at Combe... title decoration, engraved headpiece decorations and decorated initial letters; contemp. blind ruled calf, 8vo. printed by John Beale, 1635. * the author (d.1614) was a puritan divine (becoming a fellow of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge) and sometime minister at Coggeshall (Essex) and lecturer at St Albans; his works were collected and published after his death by his brother Jeremiah (2 vols, 1635); this being one of them.
