A Diyarbakir pottery tile, Turkey, c.1600, and an Iznik pottery border tile, c.1600, the large tile, underglaze decorated in cobalt blue, turquoise, raised red, green and black outline on a white ground with four large palmettes around the sides, wavy bands containing floral motifs and various floral sprays including tulips, prunus branches and carnations, 35.5cm x 32cm and the border tile glaze decorated in turquoise blue bole red with a flowerhead, another flower and serrated leaves, 12.5cm x 24.5cm
