Provenance: From the estate of the well regarded Lewes collector, Brian Cramp. This maverick estate has been run by Erloi Dürrbach since the 1970s. His refusal to play by appellation rules, the wines’ unquestionable quality, and that intangibly unique appeal of the one-off labels, first designed by his father - a great friend of Pablo Picasso - go some way in explaining this domaine’s category-defying draw. Its blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah is one of Provence’s finest wines, soaring far beyond its Vin de Pays status.
